For people from all over the world, Tuscany is generally a landscape of longing and the south of the region is probably the quintessence of this. A train journey across this corner of the world, which has been elevated to iconic status through the interplay of nature and human hands, gives this landscape a new perspective.<\/h4>\n

When the historic steam locomotive of the “Treno Natura” sets off, it is not only railroad nostalgics who feel transported back to a bygone era. The train ride from Siena through the Orcia Valley to Montalcino in this UNESCO-listed cultural landscape is an experience for all the senses. The green hills spread out before the traveler as if painted, almost unreal. The “Treno Natura” concept is a success story. The various themed trips are not only intended to delight railroad enthusiasts and nostalgic travelers, but also foodies. The TV documentary “Full steam ahead through Tuscany” in the picture-book landscape of southern Tuscany is an experience for all the senses.<\/h4>\n
